Under the leadership of Caritas Africa, African faith leaders signed a statement to G7 -African finance Ministers in Accra.

Prior to the G20 summit, Caritas Africa brought together Catholic bishops and others in Accra on October 4-5 to discuss debt, aid and the accountability agenda for the region. At the end of the workshop Caritas Africa and its partners issued a statement.
